Trading Server Migration to London
On 29 April 2023, Blueberry Markets’ trading servers will change from Tokyo to London. Please read on to know more and make the necessary preparations.
- Why are you moving from Tokyo to London?
To keep up with the increasing number of customers, it is essential to migrate to London-based servers to further reduce latency by aligning the locations of our trading servers and liquidity hub.
- When will the migration take place?
The migration will take place on Saturday, 29 April 2023, at 2:00 PM GMT. MT4 and MT5 servers will be unavailable for several hours. It should be completed before the market opens again the following Monday.
- Will the migration affect my open trades?
The migration will happen on a weekend. The markets are closed, so no open trades will be affected. Historical trades will also not be affected.
- What happens to my EAs/Indicators?
There will be no issues with EAs/Indicators. They should function as normal once you are connected to the new server and the markets are open.
- Will I need to re-log into my MT4/5?
You will be auto-logged out as we retire the old servers. Nonetheless, it will only take a couple of clicks for you to re-login.
- What are the new server addresses?
The server name will remain the same (BlueberryMarkets-Live), and you should still be able to log in with it.
In the event that you experience any issues, you may copy-paste any of the following server addresses:
- I have a sponsored Tokyo VPS. Will I get a new London VPS?
Yes. Our partner VPS provider, New York City Servers, will have set up a new London VPS for you. They will assist with the migration of your platform setups, and you will receive new VPS login credentials by email.
